She booked at 11pm. You were asleep.

A bespoke website with booking built in, for your studio. Clients choose a real time, pay their deposit and fill in their form without ever messaging you.

What happened at 11pm

Five minutes on her phone. Nothing on yours.

One booking, taken the way every booking is taken on a site we build. Nobody at the studio was awake for any of it, and nobody needed to be.

  1. 11:02pm

She found you on Instagram and tapped the link in your bio.

Your own site, on your own domain, in your own brand. Not a booking marketplace with three other studios listed underneath you.

  2. 11:04pm

She chose her treatment and saw the times you actually had free.

One choice sets the length, the price and the calendar. Notice and buffer rules apply before a time is ever shown, so nothing is offered that you would have to undo.

  3. 11:07pm

She paid the deposit. The time was hers.

Half now and the rest at the studio, or the whole treatment up front. You decide, per treatment. The money lands in a Stripe account in your name.

  4. 11:08pm

Her confirmation arrived, with her form inside it.

The health questionnaire opens from a link tied to her appointment and no other. She finished it before she went to sleep.

  5. 7:30am

You woke up to one new appointment, paid, with her answers beside it.

You had not typed a word. That is the whole point.

Now picture the same booking in your DMs.

If you book in DMs

The DM remembers nothing.

It cannot hold a deposit, it cannot hold a calendar, and it cannot tell you she is due back. So you hold all of it. Between clients, with your hands busy.

  • In the DMs: “Sending the deposit now.” Then nothing.

On your own site: She pays when she books: half now and the rest at the studio, or the whole treatment up front. The time is not held until she has.

  • In the DMs: “Have you got anything Saturday?” Forty times a week, between clients.

On your own site: She sees the times that are genuinely free, and takes one. You are not in the conversation at all.

  • In the DMs: One thread agrees a Saturday while another thread is still asking for it.

On your own site: One calendar. Notice and buffer rules apply before a time is ever offered.

  • In the DMs: The consultation form, filled in on the chair. Or not at all.

On your own site: Reached from her own confirmation, with whatever she needs to do beforehand, and finished before she arrives.

  • In the DMs: The same aftercare message, retyped from your phone, at nine in the evening.

On your own site: Her own aftercare page on your domain, sent the moment the appointment ends.

  • In the DMs: She is due again in six weeks, and the only place that is written down is your head.

On your own site: Her record holds what she had, and when she is due back.

That is six promises, on every single appointment.

At bookings a week, that is

promises a month, kept by nothing but your memory.

None of this is extra admin. It is the same booking, taken somewhere that remembers.

Proof

Built for a real studio. Live right now.

Defined PMU runs its website, its booking, its payments and its client forms on a system we built from the ground up. Open it on your phone and take a lip blush booking as far as the payment step, if you like. It is exactly what your clients would see.

Visit definedpmu.com
The Defined PMU homepage on a phone: the headline Lips. Nothing else., and a Book an appointment button.

Booking on their own domain

“Coded for Beauty built our website and booking system from the ground up. Within the first week, we received 20 paid bookings directly through the site, with clients able to choose a time and pay their deposit without messaging us first. Everything has worked smoothly, and managing appointments, payments and client details is now much easier.”

What it costs

One fixed fee. Then it is yours.

The price is written down before anything starts, and it does not move. There is no retainer, no monthly charge and no share of your bookings. Domain, hosting, email and payments are paid directly to those providers, in your own name, at their prices.

Only need the website? The Website is £399, built phone first and linked to the booking platform you already use. A studio with a team or more than one room is quoted as a Clinic System, with its own scope and timeline.

For solo studios

Website + Booking

Your money goes to you

Deposits and payments land in a Stripe account opened in your name at the start of the project. We never hold your money, and we never take a share of a booking.

Your name on everything

Domain, hosting, email and payment accounts are opened in your name from day one, so nothing has to be handed over later. On the final payment, the finished site and its files are yours.

Your clients’ answers stay in the EU

Questionnaires live on EU servers, in accounts in your name, reached only from a link tied to one appointment. Only the studio can read them, and you can delete a record whenever you want.

Thirty days of fixes. No retainer.

For thirty days after launch, anything not working as agreed is fixed at no charge. After that there is still no monthly charge, and any new work is quoted before it starts.

Before you ask

The questions every studio asks first.

Into your own Stripe account, opened in your name at the start of the project. You decide for each treatment whether it takes a deposit, the full price, or nothing at all. Stripe charges its fees to you directly, at its published rates. We never hold your money, and we never take a share of a booking.

Nothing is moved, which is deliberate: a transfer is where bookings get lost. Appointments already in your old platform or your messages stay there and run out there, and you keep that platform until the last one has passed. From launch, new bookings come to your own site instead, and client records build up there from the first booking.

On servers in the EU, in hosting and database accounts opened in your name. A questionnaire is reached from a link tied to one appointment, so there is no public page, no account and no password to leak, and only the studio can read what comes back. You can delete a client’s record whenever you want. The providers and the region are named in the scope before you agree to anything, so you can tell your insurer exactly where this information sits.

You get a written reply with the package we would suggest, a written scope, price and timeline, and the next available start date. Nothing is ordered or paid at that point. Work begins when you accept the scope and pay the first half of the fee.

Your treatments and prices, a little about the studio and your clients, your logo if you have one, and photographs of your work and your space. Good phone photography is usually enough. The copywriting is included in every package, so you are not writing the site yourself. We tell you exactly what we need and when, and the delivery windows assume it arrives then.

The Website targets 7 to 10 working days and Website + Booking 10 to 14, assuming content and answers arrive when asked for. A Clinic System gets its own timeline, agreed before the project starts.

More on the main site, including the packages side by side: every question we have been asked.
